Happy Birthday Connor

My baby is 2! Connor, you are at the cutest age! I look at you everyday and think how cute you are and everyone tells me too. You look like a little surfer with that long blond curly hair. You have so much personality and you have no problem doing exactly what you want. If your hungry you grab a stol and get yourself something to eat, you don't wait for someone to get you something. You are so curious, always figuring things out, taking everything apart. I've said that I think your happiest when your making a mess. You love putting things in the toilet and seeing if they will flush. You keep me moving and you are so busy but I love absolutely everything about you. You say or try to say every word except Logan. We can't figure out why you won't say his name. Your favorite person besides mommy might be Aubrey. You do love beating on her but love giving her just as many hugs. You love ears and your thumb. You go to sleep with your thum in your mouth rubbing your ear or mommy or daddy's ears.

Today we planned a party for you but had to cancel because you had been so sick. We had cake and lots of snuggles with mommy today. We love you so much little boy! I thank God everyday for him sending you to me!

kids school year

I can't believe it's summer! It's felt like a crazy year! We sold are house in Mount Pleasant and moved in with my parents from October to January then moved into our new home to McKenzie Lake. Logan played hockey from September to April and that felt crazy! It was 4 times a week and Shawn was working all the time so I drove him and took the other kids with me, not sure why but it really stressed me out so I couldn't wait for that to be over especially because once we moved I had to drive him back to Chestermere so he could play. Aubrey was in dance once a week on Thursday so that felt manageable. It felt like a very stressful year with a lot of driving. I drove the kids to school in the NE from McKenzie Lake in one of the worst winters. Logan was late for school 28 times! It was bad!

I'm just so ready for the summer break. We are loving living in McKenzie Lake and we're really taking advantage of the beach. The kids have there bad days but I'm really enjoying them right now. They are just good kids. Logan is the sweetest kid as long as he's kept busy he is the happiest nicest boy and I just love him to pieces. Aubrey is in a really good stage right now and I feel like shes actually starting to listen to me and not make my life so difficult. Connor is 18 months and he has the best personality. He started walking at the beginning of June and is enjoying the freedom. He's favorite things are making messes and getting into things but I just love him so much and think he's the cutest little boy!

happy birthday Aubrey

Can't believe your 5!! You are still my cuddle buddy, you love cuddles and kisses and I love that. You love to sing and play, you have a wonderful imagination. You have grown a lot this year and you want to be more indipendent. This past year you got the opportunity to sing away in a manger at the Stake Music festival.

happy birthday Logan

7 years ago I had you and it's been the best 7 years of my life! I love looking back to the past year and how much you have changed. I love that you continue to be my sweet helpful boy. I love seeing you smile it makes me so happy! I love how much you love to laugh and your just naturally happy and make everyone around you happy too. our new home

We have now spent 2 nights in our new home!! We have moved 3 times in the 5 years and I'm tired of moving but really exciting for our home now. The kids are really excited Aubrey now has her own room and Logan and Connor are sharing. The house is still a bit of a mess but it's exciting to unpack and make this our home. The last 4 months we spent with my parents and they were so welcoming and loving and we really enjoyed being there and we will really miss seeing and talking to them everyday.
