Phoenix

March 6 to March 16, 2013

We were in Phoenix for ten wonderful days. We had so much fun! We stayed with Grandma and Papa in their beautiful home. We went swimming almost every day, did lots of shopping, went on a hike, Shawn went on a balloon ride with Papa and went golfing. It was really fun staying with Grandma and Papa, they took us to all the fun places and spoiled us.

We arrived on Wednesday March 6, Grandma picked us up from the airport and then took us out to eat at a yummy buffet called Sweet Tomatoes.  On Thursday we went to the pool and then Shawn and I went on a date, we went to a movie and found an awesome frozen yoghurt place. On Friday and Saturday it was cold so we did some shopping and went to a place called the kids museum and went swimming. There was a really fun park close to Grandma and Papas house that had a train, we took the kids on that a few times. On Sunday we went to church and then Grandma took us to do some sightseeing around Phoenix.  I have never been anywhere like Phoenix, the Cactus grow like our Spruce Trees. On Monday Papa arrived so Grandma went and picked him up.  We got a rental car so we did some shopping and went to the pool with just the four of us.Wednesday was fun, we went on a hike, went swimming and Papa and Shawn went on a hot air balloon ride. We spent Thursday and Friday at the pool and shopping. We had so much fun!

I think this is the first vacation I did not want to come home. I didn't want to go back to the cold but Grandma and Papa made it so comfortable for us. This was the perfect vacation  for us! Cant wait to plan our next trip there.

Beautiful winter day

Its March 1 today and its +9 so its a nice change from the cold winter we have had. It's been a cold long winter but we have had lots of fun. We have found fun ways to stay busy almost every day. I just love being home with Logan and Aubrey. Im so grateful I get to spend all my time with the most amazing kids! Today I took the kids to the park to celebrate the nice weather. Aubrey is so big now, she runs and she will slide down the slide all by herself (backwards). It's so fun watching them.

Funny moment but really sick! So we have been potty training Logan with successful and not so successful days. Today Logan went running for the washroom and he didn't make it in time and he pees all over the floor. Aubrey was with Logan and she starts playing in his pee and both of them are soaking wet with his pee!
